| Pszczoła krąży nad kwiatem nasturcji, | A bee circles a clover, |
| Rybak naprawia błyszczącą sieć. | A fisherman mends a glimmering net. |
| Skaczą w morzu wesołe delfiny, | Happy porpoises jump in the sea, |
| Młode wróble czepiają się rynny | By the rainspout young sparrows are playing |
| I wąż ma złotą skórę, jak powinien mieć. | And the snake is gold-skinned as it should always be. |

| Kobiety idą polem pod parasolkami, | Women walk through the fields under their umbrellas, |
| Pijak zasypia na brzegu trawnika, | A drunkard grows sleepy at the edge of a lawn, |
| Nawołują na ulicy sprzedawcy warzywa | Vegetable peddlers shout in the street |
| I łódka z żółtym żaglem do wyspy podpływa, | And a yellow-sailed boat comes nearer the island, |
| Dźwięk skrzypiec w powietrzu trwa | The voice of a violin lasts in the air |
| I noc gwiaździstą odmyka. | And leads into a starry night. |

| Dopóki słońce i księżyc są w górze, | As long as the sun and the moon are above, |
| Dopóki trzmiel nawiedza różę, | As long as the bumblebee visits a rose, |
| Dopóki dzieci różowe się rodzą, | As long as rosy infants are born |
| Nikt nie wierzy, że staje się już. | No one believes it is happening now. |
