Versi di James Joyce, nella raccolta intitolata “Chamber Music”
Come suggerisce il titolo, tutte le 36 poesie contenute nella raccolta hanno un’innata musicalità, e infatti sono state messe in musica da innumerevoli compositori, da Luciano Berio a Syd Barrett a Jim O'Rourke ai Mercury Rev.
Lo stesso Joyce era un ottimo musicista e non è escluso che questa e altre poesie le avesse concepite musicalmente lui stesso.
