Forgive [Never Forget Amin Dadá]

Richard Marot
Lingua: Inglese

Many massacres were always allowed
It's true that some years ago,
African Dictators were vanished.
I don't know exactly why they did that,
But I know that they will be punished
And their bloody sin won't be forgotten.

We were in the middle of a new great time
European dictators were recognized for their crime
But Many other countries were buried in the mood
And their selfish leaders were always well hidden,
And all the rigtheousness was so forbidden.

Beside crocodiles which were not hungry
In the green riches from Uganda
In the huge lakes,in the fair forests
There was a tall bear called Dadá
He was the false leader who destroyed the nests
Of everybody who didn't want to respect him.

Dear awful Dadá, you was not our daddy
You was like a big monster which was so ugly
But never forget my name, My name is Dadá
He said that, but nobody remembered his name.

While other cruel men were being judged,
He died in his bed two years ago.
He was really a silly killer who was too wild
To do something to respect the gift of lifes.
He worshiped the bitter hatred and the sharp knives
And It's true that he even killed one of his wifes.

He was a dumb, lazy and so coward giant
He was a black fascist who was full of rage
And He talked about the soumission of white men
He talked about the beauty of the racism to asiatic men
That's why he had always been so, so awful
But European authorities saw a fat clown

What so great despair, what kind of thought
Oh!Dadá you were so different from Abdou Diouf
And so different from many other men...
Milton Obote was your shield in front of the world
And so humble Senghor was the opposite of you.

Call me Dadá, Call me Dadá,
I'm the king and the father of my folk
I love Hitler's views and I Hate jews
I Hate all the people who are not like me
And I've listened all the statements and the news
Which talk about an ugly monster killer

However,international community doesn't say that
And that's the reason why I'll continue my work
That's the reason why you must call me Dadá
I will be always your best Swahili Grandfather
'Cause I left my Country with three hundred thousand men
Who remained dead in the middle of all the deaths'eternity

And everybody forgot this tragedy
And everybody forgot his ugly name
But we must never forget his crime's game
He had a name which was so ridiculous
But we must be always more courageous
And we must fight against all the Evil
Despite politics and politicians wanted to forget him.

But Never Forget his ugly crimes
Never Forgive oh never forgive
Never Forgive, Amín Dadá!

Beside crocodiles which were not hungry
In the green riches from Uganda
In the huge lakes and in the far forests
There was a tall bear called Dadá.

Dear awful Dadá, you was not Our Daddy!
You was like a big monster which was so ugly
But never forget my name, My name is Dadá
He said that, and nobody remembered his name.

But Never Forget his ugly crimes
Never Forgive oh never forgive
Never Forgive, Amín Dadá!
Never Forgive oh never forgive
Never Forgive, Amín Dadá!

( Scat piece )

Oh never forgive,
Never Forgive, Amín Dadá!
'cause he was like a joker Mobutu!
