"The School Of Assassins" è la famigerata "Escuela de las Americas", scuola di addestramento con sede prima a Panama, fino al 1984, e poi presso la base militare statunitense di Fort Benning, Georgia.

Galtieri, presidente della sanguinaria Giunta militare argentina e fautore della guerra delle Falklands/Malvinas; Manuel Antonio Noriega, il narcodittatore panamense rimosso dal suo padrone Bush senior dopo l'invasione staunitense di Panama del 1989; il dittatore boliviano gen. Hugo Banzer; Roberto D'Aubuisson, capo degli squadroni della morte salvadoregni e mandante dell'assassinio di Mons. Romero; gen. Héctor Gramajo, uno dei responsabili del genocidio degli indios guatemaltechi negli anni '80; gen.
