Stand Up for Your Beliefs

Jennifer Fixman
Language: English

Abraham Lincoln stood up to say
Our country must get along today.
Some said slavery is what we're for.
Others disagreed, and we had a Civil War.
Lincoln stood up for what he thought was right.
He stayed true to his beliefs throughout the fight.
He was the leader of our country and he won.
The states were reunited, and slavery was gone.

Chorus
Stand up for what you believe in.
It takes one person to be strong.
Think of all you want to achieve.
Then find a way to right what's wrong.

Rosa Parks sat down for her beliefs...

Chorus

At the time that Rosa Parks sat down...

Chorus

Your chance to make a difference in the world is here....

Chorus
