Album: The Peaceful Warrior

There are a great deal of native musicians out there in the world today. That is great! However, I feel it is important that we send messages of peace and solidarity to our youth in order for them the lead the future of our people into a harmonious lifestyle. Be strong and stand up for what you believe, but don't dwell on the past or let the past dictate the future.
My name is Kaluyu'ti and I'm at war for peace
all senseless attacks I see must cease
So, what am I doing here and what do I want to say
Is that this world has to change its' way

I will battle for the red white yellow and black
I'll fight for the ones who can't fight back
and I'll make my stand with a paper and a pen
you want to argue that - go back to bed again
'cause you never gonna win against what I stand for
so sit down, shut up and listen as I give you my grand tour

I'm gonna target the corruption in the government
I'm gonna target the poison in our environment
I'm gonna target the injustices to the people
and I'm gonna hit every target or I won't keep still
I will battle the battle of the battles
and i will shake up the cage until it rattles

You never gonna get rid of me
not until the problems of the world are cut at the knee
Let me kick this out one more time
so crystal clear is the messege in my rhyme

My name is kaluyu'ti and I'm at war for peace
all senselss attacks I see - must cease
I'll battle for the red white yellow and black
I'll fight for the ones who can't fight back
someone's got to make the people aware
someone's got to make everyone care
so passs that messege on if you dare

whether it's mine or yours - we all got to share
because there's more power in one mans' voice
than all the weapons of military choice
so lets put your voice with my voice and we can shout out loud
that we belong to the human race and we are proud

We have seen how the world can be devastated
through the actions of men with minds of hatred
look at hitler, charlie manson and even Osama
these are the men who have caused us trauma
then we have cops with hookers in the backseats
and we have punk-ass teens knifing each other in the streets
we drug dealers hooking up kids with crack

why there's a lot of shit in the world that's just wack
we have men who stand up for their rights and get shot down
you better batten down the hatches cause we headin' into the next round

there's no getting through war without losses
lennon, king, kennedy and ghandi are all on symbolic crosses
I said my name is Kaluyu'ti and I'm at war for peace
all senseless attacks must cease
but I can't move this world all alone
so just remember that this is also your home
so if we put my voice with your voice we can shout together
then people are gonna hear us and things are gonna get better.
