Currently based out of Amherst, MA, Thomas Fredric Jones has been writing and performing for most of his life, deciding to pursue music and writing after graduating with a degree in History from the University of California, Berkeley. He has played gigs in eclectic venues ranging from coffee houses, pubs, and wine bars in Newport Beach and the San Francisco Bay area—the Owl and Monkey Café of yore in San Francisco being a personal favorite—to county fairs and community events in Vermont and elsewhere on the East Coast. He is also a published writer and poet, appearing in the San Francisco Examiner, the San Francisco Chronicle, and the L.A. Times. T. Fredric can be seen this summer (2009) on the Kindred Folk Stage at Brattleboro, Vermont’s “Strolling of the Heifers” project for sustainable agriculture, and will also be featured, along with his daughters in his band, the Outlandish Landsharks, in an ongoing outdoor concert series in Brattleboro’s Pliny Part, throughout late July and early August. His poetry is currently exhibited in the spring 2009 issue of Tangent Literary Arts Magazine, based out of Buffalo-Cheektowaga, NY. T. Fredric Jones can be reached for booking and other information at this myspace, or by emailing sidereal@toast.net.
