Kevin Dardis was born in Dublin in 1971. He left Ireland in January 1996 and spent the next seven years on the road. He is now settled in Nuremberg in Germany and is a regular on stages throughout Bavaria. Although he is essentially an Irish folk singer, his own compositions are often more bluesy and retrospective in nature. Vocally, he has been compared with singers such as Tim Buckley.
