Dolores KeaneDolores Keane (born 1953) is an Irish folk singer. She was a founding member and vocalist of De Dannan, an Irish folk music group. Other founding members were: Frankie Gavin (fiddle), Alec Finn (guitar, bouzouki), Johnny "Ringo" McDonagh (bodhran) and Charlie Piggott (banjo). The self-titled debut album Dé Danann appeared in 1975. Dolores left to marry John Faulkner in 1977. They were both multi-instrumentalists. Dolores played concertina, flute, whistle, hurdy gurdy and bodhran. The anthology "A Woman's Heart" (1992), with three songs by Dolores Keane, was one of the the most popular folk anthologies of the nineties.
