Admiral Mahić, born on January 19, 1948 in Banja Luka, died in 2015 in Sarajevo, was the Bosnian writer. In addition to poetry and prose was published notes from the travel and drama.
Surreal image of his poetry are deeply engraved in the spiritual space of his Sarajevo city and his homeland of Bosnia and Herzegovina. They are also embedded in the foundations of contemporary Bosnian-Herzegovinian poetry.
He lived as a freelance artist in Sarajevo. He worked as a volunteer editor for the poetry and art photography „Republic of poetry“. He was a founding member of PEN Center of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
After the war, he had a number of foreign literary scholarship, such as: KulturKontakt Austria, Alte Schmiede-Wien Kultur-Steimark, Graz and Maribor. His poetry has been translated into French, Slovenian, German and English.
