Anna Lang

Canzoni contro la guerra di Anna Lang

Born in Northern Ireland in 1969
Anna is a relative newcomer to song writing.
She enjoyed performing cover songs in local
bars and clubs in her hometown of Whitstable
in Kent.
Her first ever composition came in 2006 after
She collaborated with a talented song writer
& musician called Chris Cawte , who had some
success in the 1980’s with a UK band called
“ The gutter brothers “
Chris lectures and tours the globe in a
Led Zeppelin tribute band and has
Written the score for Planet 51
a major film release in 2009

As a result she signed a publishing deal with
Rockstarmedia music group in that same year.

Anna was content to continue writing under an
exclusive writing deal , not only with Paul Mcilwaine
but a host of other talents including Paul D May ,
John Holgate , Ian Henderson, Mark Woodcock
& most recently Billy Flack.

Out of the blue in late 2009 , RSM offered
Anna the chance of a Debut Album release,
through the companies own label Rocka
Records.
The Album “Tiptoe through my heart”
is the result of Four years of writing and
Recording and gives the Irish born singer the
Chance to record and perform in her own right.
Anna, unashamedly admits to her easy
listening tag but jumps genres constantly, to
experiment and surprise.
“I’ve written Country, pop, indie and
Blues with my co writers, even some dance.
It’s all part of the writing process.
I grew up listening to Country and love
Writing Country pop cross over’s but I don’t
want to be thought of as an artist tied to
one particular genre.
It’s fun to do other things. “

Anna’s Album is released January 3rd 2011 and
will be available in over 100 countries through
distributor INgrooves/Universal.
